TROPICAL . BOHO . CELEBRATION

It constantly amazes me how the internet somehow connects me with some off the most fun and charming clients. I remember the evening that this bride and I had a consultation over the phone well. We chatted for almost two hours and continued our conversation via text late into the evening. Clearly we had some major wedding planning chemistry! One of my favorite things about this wedding was that the bride loved color. She wanted to embrace a tropical theme but give it our own more modern twist. I feel like we nailed it with flowers (designed by yours truly), amazing vintage lounge, and the fun table settings. Not only was this wedding gorgeous, but is was full of beautiful emotional moments. I felt so honored to help various family members thoughtfully weave them into the evening's program. I probably say it too much, but being a part of beautiful days like this one make my heart full.

MOODY . TROPICAL . DANCE PARTY

The first time I ever chatted with this darling bride, I was so nervous. I had never had another wedding planner consider me for their wedding day and I knew if I got this job, it would be the ultimate compliment! Needless to say, I got the job and I am so glad I did. Not only was it a huge compliment, but this couple was a dream to work with. The bride's vision for this wedding was so much fun. The overall look was a blend of burgundies, ivory, lush greenery and gold pineapples. I had the pleasure of designing the florals and they turned out to be some of my all time favorites. The ceremony took place on Secret Island which the guests accessed by a private catamaran ride. Dinner began with a gorgeous cheese board at each table. The brides father hand crafted each cutting board which were later gifted to the wedding party. After dinner, guests danced the night away only to take momentary breaks for the gelato that was served instead of wedding cake. My only regret with this wedding is that I didn't get to work with this couple longer!

FRESH . SOPHISTICATED . KID FRIENDLY WEDDING

I always feel like the luckiest wedding planner on the island when the most darling brides-to-be reach out to me via the internet and we form an instant connection. This was absolutely the case with this charming bride. From the start we had a mutual vision of fun yet sophisticated event. We chose a lush venue with an amazing caterer. The food was served family style, giving all guests an opportunity to share and get to know each other over dinner. After dinner, the bride surprised the groom with a hula she had been secretly learning for months. The night ended with the most thoughtful breakfast in a box favors for the guests to take home.

DAY LONG . TROPICAL . LOVEFEST

One of the best perks of being a wedding planner is becoming friends with all the wonderful vendors I work with. The story about how I met this adorable couple is a long one, but ultimately I became friends with the bride when she and I began working together. For me it was huge when they decided they had to hire me to coordinate their super non-traditional, day long love fest. From the beginning they were clear that they wanted it to feel like a slightly jazzed up version of how they typically spend time with their family and friends. The day started with the most beautiful and emotional ceremony I have ever seen. The guests gathered around the couple as they read their personalized vows. Literally everyone was sobbing tears of happiness and joy for them (including my whole team). After the ceremony, all the guests headed down to the beach for bloody marys, musubi and hand rolls. After all the guests had a chance to take a siesta and freshen up everyone headed down the street to the reception. We designed the reception to be a casual boho lounge. While the guests sipped cocktails and swung in hammocks, the caterers grilled kabobs over an open fire pit. Between the early impromptu dancing, the most heart warming toasts and the tastiest rice crispy treats known to man, the reception was a hit! This wedding truly lived up to what Love Letter Weddings strives to accomplish with every event. It was unique, it was extremely sentimental and most important, it was a true reflection of these two beautiful people.

STUNNING . TROPICAL . SOIREE

This wedding was one of our most anticipated events of the year at Love Letter Weddings. Not only did we have a stellar line up of vendors involved, but the lovely couple had the most amazing taste in - well everything! Some of our favorite parts were making the 'find your party animal' escort card display, the epic ombre aisle petals, the tattoo bar, and the impromptu wagon wheel love circle on the dance floor at the end of the night! Not only was everything beautiful, but all the family and guests were a blast. We had so much being a part of this very special day!!

EFFORTLESSLY COOL . AQUARIUM . FIESTA

At Love Letter Weddings, we absolutely love it when fellow industry professionals get married!! Not only do they totally get what is involved in pulling everything off, but they also have tons of industry friends who pitch in to make the day a success! It makes for such a personal event full of love. This couple chose a super fun venue, the Waikiki Aquarium. We decorated the tables with fairy lights, homemade jars of pickles and preserves and rustic wood boxes full of gorgeous king protea. The Mexican style feast (that the groom prepared himself) was served family style. After dinner everyone got on the dance floor and danced the night away to a Jawaiian Reggae Band. We totally love how all these super random elements came together to create the perfect event for this couple!
