Gina and Tim’s Joyful, Travel-Inspired Wedding at Lanikuhonua

Gina and Tim’s wedding at Lanikuhonua was one of those days that felt joyful from the moment it began. Set against the sweeping ocean views of Oʻahu’s west side, their celebration unfolded with so much heart, personality, and playful energy. It was a true reflection of who they are together.

Their love for travel was thoughtfully woven throughout the design in a way that felt fun and intentional. The menus were designed to look like plane tickets, a subtle but creative nod to all the places that have shaped their story. The seating chart continued that theme, with each table named after a destination Gina and Tim had traveled to together, inviting guests into their journey in such a personal way. They even included postcards for everyone to write notes to them, creating a collection of heartfelt messages they will get to revisit long after the day ended.

The florals brought everything to life. Designed by our floral department, the arrangements were soft, romantic, and lush, complementing the natural beauty of Lanikuhonua without overpowering it. Every detail felt elevated yet approachable, perfectly matching the relaxed elegance of the setting.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was their tea ceremony. Gina and Tim served tea to their parents as a sign of respect and gratitude, pausing the celebration to honor family and the love that brought them to this moment. It was intimate, emotional, and incredibly grounding, a beautiful reminder of what truly mattered most.

And of course, there was no shortage of fun. A white bouncy house sat on the lawn, instantly bringing out laughter and carefree energy from guests of all ages. Their signature drinks were named after their dogs, adding another personal and playful touch that felt so them. Everywhere you looked, there was joy, the kind that is felt just as much as it is seen.

Gina and Tim’s wedding was heartfelt, vibrant, and full of personality. A celebration rooted in love, family, adventure, and a whole lot of fun. The kind of Lanikuhonua day that stays with you long after the sun sets.
