Fall Floral Internship

Love Letter Weddings Floral is offering a hands-on internship for individuals who are excited to learn the art of floral design and get a firsthand look at what it's like to work in the wedding industry.
Whether you're considering a career in floral design or simply looking to explore a new creative opportunity, this is a chance to learn alongside our team and experience what goes into bringing a wedding to life!
What You'll Learn
Throughout the internship, you'll work alongside our floral team in our Chinatown studio and at real weddings, learning everything from the basics of flower care to creating large-scale floral installations.
Flower Care & Preparation: Learn how to properly process, care for, and prepare fresh flowers.
Floral Design: Learn how to read floral recipes and create bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, and large-scale installations.
Wedding Day Experience: Get hands-on experience preparing, transporting, installing, and bringing floral designs together at wedding venues.

We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy working with their hands, aren't afraid of a little hard work, and are genuinely interested in exploring a potential career in floral design or the wedding industry.
Internship Schedule & Commitment
Our fall internship runs from October through the first week of December 2026.
Interns will participate in both studio training and wedding day events. Studio training typically takes place during the three to four days leading up to each wedding, giving interns the opportunity to experience the hands-on floral design process from start to finish.

Applicants must be available for a minimum of four wedding dates, including all three - four studio training days leading up to each of those events.
Specific schedules will be shared with selected applicants. If you have questions about availability or scheduling, you're welcome to reach out to our team for clarification.
Compensation
This internship combines unpaid educational training in our Chinatown floral studio with paid wedding day opportunities.
Studio Training: Unpaid, with a focus on learning foundational floral design skills alongside our team.
Wedding Days: Paid at $16 per hour for event day work.
Looking Beyond the Internship
We're always looking for talented people to grow with our team! One of our goals in offering this internship is to connect with individuals who may be a great fit for a more permanent role within our floral department.
While future employment isn't guaranteed, we'd love to meet people who are interested in developing their skills and potentially becoming a part of Love Letter Weddings Floral beyond the internship.
