Kayla and Yanni’s Heartfelt Hawaii Destination Wedding at Lanikuhonua
Kayla and Yanni’s wedding at Lanikuhonua Phase 2 was a heartfelt, tropical celebration that perfectly captured the beauty of a Hawaii destination wedding. Located right along the stunning coastline of Oahu, Lanikuhonua is one of our favorite Hawaii wedding venues. It was an even more meaningful choice for Kayla and Yanni because this breathtaking beachfront spot was where Yanni proposed exactly one year before.
As Maid of Honor for Hire and floral design clients, Kayla and Yanni trusted Love Letter Weddings to guide them through the planning process while creating a floral design that reflected their vision. Their wedding embraced a subtle, tropical aesthetic with lush green and white blooms arranged in an airy, Ikebana-inspired style. The bridesmaids wore trending butter-yellow dresses, adding a warm, fresh pop of color against the tropical backdrop. Our floral design combined delicate blooms and tropical greenery, enhancing the venue’s natural beauty without overwhelming it.
But what truly made this Hawaii destination wedding unforgettable was Kayla and Yanni’s personal touches. They wrote personalized thank-you notes for each of their guests, a heartfelt gesture that meant the world to loved ones who traveled from New Zealand, Australia, and Canada to celebrate with them. The day felt intimate, laid-back, and full of joy, reflecting the couple’s warm personalities.
Working with Kayla and Yanni was a genuine joy. Their kindness, clarity, and heartfelt connection made the planning process a delight. At Love Letter Weddings, we love helping couples create destination weddings in Hawaii that feel meaningful, personalized, and unforgettable. This celebration was a perfect example.
