Noel & Mason’s Romantic Wedding at Capitol Modern Hawai‘i
Noel holds such a special place in our hearts because she was Love Letter Weddings’ very first intern. Helping her plan and design her own wedding truly felt like a full circle moment.
We started planning with a hotel venue, but after a disappointing tasting and a vision that just didn’t feel right, Noel and Mason made a brave choice just a few months before their wedding to pivot. Together we found the coolest alternative at Capitol Modern, Hawai‘i’s State Art Museum, and it turned out to be the perfect fit for the romantic, moody, slightly Disney-princess vibe they had been dreaming of.
From the very beginning, we worked closely with Noel and Mason to shape their vision in a way that fit their budget while still making the celebration feel completely one of a kind. What made their day even more meaningful were the friends and family who played a role in bringing it to life. Noel’s best friend officiated, her cousin did her hair and makeup, her maid of honor and best man sang and played guitar as she walked down the aisle, and their DJ, who was once her boss and is now a close friend, filled the night with music.
Some of our favorite details included the stunning museum setting, the unique ceremony floral backdrop we designed together, and the seating chart her dad built by hand. Every element reflected Noel and Mason’s story, and the whole day felt like a true celebration of love, friendship, and family.
