Norma & Michael’s Wedding - An Organic, Whimsical Celebration in Hawaii
Norma and Michael’s wedding was a beautiful blend of organic textures, thoughtful details, and playful little touches that made the celebration feel entirely their own. Mossy green linens, organic florals, hand-drawn illustrations, warm candlelight, and soft lounge spaces came together to create a setting that felt romantic, relaxed, and effortlessly collected. The design had a natural, almost storybook quality to it, with layers of texture and color that gave guests something new to notice throughout the day.
From the illustrated table assignment cards to the matching menu and escort cards, the hand-drawn details added a sense of personality and whimsy to the celebration. Cocktail tables were dressed in dark green linens and topped with gold and glass lamps, simple bud vases, and warm candlelight, creating cozy spaces for guests to gather and connect. Thoughtful touches like the lounge set, umbrellas, and bistro chairs made the guest experience feel both comfortable and inviting.
And then there were the details designed to bring everyone into the celebration. A live painter created simple portraits of guests, while the guest book invited everyone to take a polaroid picture and write alongside a personalized note. These little interactive moments made the wedding feel less like something guests were simply attending and more like something they were helping create.
The result was a celebration that felt warm, personal, and a little bit whimsical. Every detail had a purpose, whether it was creating a beautiful atmosphere, making guests feel welcome, or giving Norma and Michael something meaningful to remember. It was a thoughtful reflection of the couple and a beautiful reminder that the best wedding details are often the ones that make everyone feel a little more connected.
